Past Performance and New Contracts

Shire Scientific, LLC is a Minnesota for-profit company with a record of delivering for public institutions. We have completed a multi-year contract with Hennepin County and a multi-year collaboration with the University of Minnesota. We are now seeking new contracts in health and science with the United States federal government, the State of Minnesota and the seven counties of the Twin Cities metro.

Past performance: Hennepin County. Adult Mental Health Targeted Case Management for Hennepin County Human Services and Public Health, 2022 to May 31, 2026. We served about 120 adults at a time living with serious and persistent mental illness, with licensed clinical supervision, enrollment with Minnesota Health Care Programs and in-network agreements with all five managed care organizations in the state's Prepaid Medical Assistance Program.

Past performance: University of Minnesota. Leading the Shire Somali Community Advisory Board for GC-PRO, a study of genetic counseling funded by the National Human Genome Research Institute, 2023 to May 31, 2026. The board's advice changed how the study recruited patients and trained genetic counselors, and the work produced peer-reviewed papers in BMJ Open (2024) and the Journal of Genetic Counseling (2026).

Where we are seeking new contracts. Federal: United States government agencies in health and science, through SAM.gov. State: State of Minnesota agencies, through the state's SWIFT supplier system. County: Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey, Scott and Washington Counties.
